Swwicca has been actively participating in charitable activities since number of years, in 2017 a separate division is formed exclusively to coordinate and oversee charity activities. The group has dedicated team and conducts charity events in Vancouver metro area. The organization is categorized as 501 (C) (3) and have the tax exempted status by IRS.

Santa’s Posse charity event is back! Due to covid concerns, this year’s Santa’s Posse event will be an ‘invitation only’ event. We are pleased to inform all of you that SWWICCA has been invited to volunteer for gift packing event on Dec 18th and gift delivery event on Dec 20th.
Please use following two links to register for gift packing and delivery events. Please note : kids are not allowed to volunteer at this year’s event due to Covid safety concerns. Once you register, please send your name to Ravi Illuri or Vaishnavi Kilambi, so that they can coordinate with volunteers on event days. You can register to either or both the events.

Updates on Donations:
4/20/20: We have had a great response from SWWICCA community. Thank you to all those who have contributed and are planning to contribute. So far, we have raised $1070 (as of 4/20/20). We have coordinated with Clark County Food bank and have given them a check of $1000. This will provide 3000 meals to vulnerable families in Clark county. As we collect more funds we will coordinate with other local organizations to help the people in our community. Those planning to contribute please go to SWWICCA website and donate. Your donations have helped us to continue working towards our mission of helping the needy families in our community especially in this time of great need. You support truly makes a difference. More details to follow as we collect funds and allocate them to various charitable organizations helping vulnerable families.
4/29/20 & 4/30/20: Distributed more than 100 packets of food plus masks along with Toothbrush kits in east Vancouver area. This event was in collaboration with Must Love Kids Pediatric Dentistry. Immense gratitude to youth ambassadors, Madhuri Kilambi, Aananth Andey, and Rohit Thawani, for their invaluable assistance in the distribution of nourishment and protective masks.
6/02/2020: Donated $576 to Clark County food bank.

Gift Wrapping Night - Dec, 2018
Gift Wrapping and Delivering (13th/14th, Dec): A team of 25 plus volunteers participated on a cold December night to warp the gifts for under privileges kids, an event organized by Santa's Posse group. Next day (14th) some of them came back to deliver the gift boxes to various families in Vancouver area.

Food Packing - Aug, 2018
Food Packing at Clark County Food Bank (08/23/2018): A compassionate ,enthusiastic and energetic event attended by SWWICCA volunteers to make this a successful inaugural event. It’s a demonstration of unwavering enthusiasm from local Indian community to help support that are in need. This volunteer group has sorted and packaged 4,600 lbs of food that can provide 5,700 meals to local Clark County families!
