Southwest Washington Indian Cultural and Charitable Association
South West Washington Indian Cultural and Charitable Association (SWWICCA) is an Indian American non-profit organization. Swwicca was formed in 2013. Its primary objective is to bring Indian community in South West Washington together and promote Indian culture in Vancouver, WA metro area. It provides an excellent opportunity for the children to learn about the rich and ancient cultural heritage of India, through organizing various cultural, art and literacy events. It is also poised to help newly arrived people in this area via web and Facebook. SWWICCA also promotes and fosters goodwill between local people and the people of Indian origin through cultural exchanges and charity for local under privileged people.

What a fun filled Diwali virtual 2020 event!
A big shout out to all for showing up, and proving ownership by actively participating in our own ‘Virtual Diwali event’.
We enjoyed watching talents of local community by sitting comfortably.
Thanks to all the parents and choreographers for preparing kids well for the event!
Thanks to all choreographers/directors for producing such fabulous performances!
So heartening to witness all this happen locally.
Its a great feeling to watch the spirit of being active in our community.
Feels like watching Bollywood 3 hours movie.
We would like to Salute to Organizers, Volunteers, Participants and Community for bringing yet another fabulous, and wonderful event of various diversity all across the community.

COVID-19 Response
Updates :
4/20/20: We have had a great response from SWWICCA community. Thank you to all those who have contributed and are planning to contribute. So far, we have raised $1070 (as of 4/20/20). We have coordinated with Clark County Food bank and have given them a check of $1000. This will provide 3000 meals to vulnerable families in Clark county. As we collect more funds we will coordinate with other local organizations to help the people in our community. Those planning to contribute please go to SWWICCA website and donate. Your donations have helped us to continue working towards our mission of helping the needy families in our community especially in this time of great need. You support truly makes a difference. More details to follow as we collect funds and allocate them to various charitable organizations helping vulnerable families.
4/29/20 & 4/30/20: Distributed more than 100 packets of food plus masks along with Toothbrush kits in east Vancouver area. This event was in collaboration with Must Love Kids Pediatric Dentistry.
6/02/2020: Donated $576 to Clark County food bank.
